Background

Kevin M. Elliott

Kevin spent twelve years in healthcare distribution and B2B sales, the last nine at Medline Industries, one of the largest medical supply manufacturers and distributors in the country. He finished his time there as an IDN Director, leading sales strategy for large hospital systems in South Carolina, a portfolio of more than $200 million in annual revenue, and coordinating about 25 field representatives and 6 sales support staff. On the operations side, that meant forecasting and distribution for more than 12,000 products moving through roughly 73 full truckloads a week.

Before that he was the account lead for the Medical University of South Carolina, growing that account from $20 million to $135 million in annual revenue over five years. Earlier he managed prime vendor analytics for the Charleston VA hospital, and worked in product strategy and national account analysis at Vallen Distribution, an industrial MRO distributor.

The common thread is operating detail: contract pricing, SKU standardization, inventory and distribution models, spend analysis, and keeping demanding customers for years. Those are the levers that make a small business more valuable, and they are the ones he knows how to pull.

Kevin holds a B.S. in Business Administration with majors in Marketing and Logistics from John Carroll University. He lives in Charleston, South Carolina.

The company

Hyde Park Holdings since 2021

Hyde Park Holdings, LLC was formed in 2021 as a real estate holding company and has owned and managed investment property in Charleston since then. In 2026 it became the vehicle for a full-time search to acquire and operate an established business.

That history matters in a practical way: the company is not a shell created last month. It has a track record of holding assets, paying its obligations, and managing tenants and vendors through several years, which is the same discipline we will bring to an operating business.

How we operate

What the first years after closing look like

Learn before changing

The first months are spent with the team and the customers, understanding why the business works before touching anything.

Keep the team

The people who built the company are its most important asset. We do not buy businesses to cut staff.

Invest in systems

Pricing discipline, clean data, reliable inventory, and sales processes that scale. The kind of work most small businesses never had time for.

Grow deliberately

Deeper relationships with existing customers first, then new customers and adjacent services. Steady over flashy.
